Welcome to Gael Mackie's official website! Gael, an 18-year-old gymnast from Vancouver, British Columbia, is one of the leading ladies in Canadian gymnastics. Following success at the junior level, Gael burst onto the senior scene in 2003. After winning the national championships at age 14, she was immediately considered to be one of the major contenders for a spot on the Olympic team that would travel to Athens a year later. In the summer of 2004, all of Gael's hard work paid off. After a long and tedious selection process, the Canadian Olympic team was announced, and Gael's biggest dream had become a reality. She made the team and will forever be known as an Olympian.

Since Athens, Gael has assumed the position of a veteran and looks to lead the new generation of up-and-coming gymnasts. She has countless national and international competitions on her resume and is well-known for her beautiful lines, dance, and personality. Gael has already been offered and accepted a full scholarship to the University of Utah and she will begin her education and collegiate gymnastics career in the fall of 2008. With the Olympics next summer still a possibility, Gael's experience and determination will guide her towards accomplishing any goal she dreams possible.

Here through Gael's official website, you can follow her accomplishments in gymnastics. Photos in the layout are (c) Ruth Judson, Elke, Martina, and Grace Chiu. On your way out, please leave Gael a message in the guestbook.
